Hi Dave,

no, as you log entry shows, the SMPP server gives us a
submit_sm_resp.command_status = 0x08 as response, which is a "generic system
error" on their side.

There is actually nothing you can do about it and they should make sure they
know what they do.

Which vendor is this? (please mail me privately, outside of the list) You could
suggest them to go with my Kannel SMPP v3.4 server (smppbox) that is used widely
around the globe at large scape GSM/CDMA MNOs and aggregators. ;)

No submit_sm PDU from Kannel should ever "crash" a SMPP SMSC. So it's definitely
their side that messes up.
