nop, let me clearify: In the SMPP protocol the outbind PDU is used on a bind_transmitter session to "inform the client" that a MO is available for delivery. This means: the SMPP server informs via the outbind PDU that the client should establish a bind_[receiver|transceiver] session, in order that the server is able to push the deliver_sm or data_sm PDUs to the client. That's all ;) Stipe -- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Kölner Landstrasse 419 40589 Düsseldorf, NRW, Germany tolj.org system architecture Kannel Software Foundation (KSF) http://www.tolj.org/ http://www.kannel.org/ mailto:st_{at}_tolj.org mailto:stolj_{at}_kannel.org -------------------------------------------------------------------
