Hi,

Also a list of some oldr serial mobiles and GSM modems are in file modems.conf.

As Alvaro states, you can work pretty much anything with Linux, Windows. Solaris supports only serial devices (no drivers for USB or bluetooth).

In general you need to look at 2 things:

1) Phone MUST support AT commands.

2) Connection Interface.
- If it is interface is serial it will work with any OS supported by kannel;
- if it is USB it will depend on USB firmware. You might need to
install specific drivers. In this case you should test & try.
- If it is Bluetooth... It is suposed to work, I think it is OS
dependant as well.

Hi all,

I am setting up Kannel for clients based in US. They would like to use
it with phone or GSM Modem in the beginning. Could you please
recommend me what model they should pick ? Preferably with Verizon or
ATT.

Also, where could I find HCL list, what phones and GSM modems are
supported or compatible with Kannel.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Dusan
