Hi,

Kannel is very stable, and under CPU or memory limitations it will just slow
down (at least in solaris). It doesn't crush and stores messages on disk, in
case it does. Throughput depends on what you want to do. MO is roughly half the
MT. Depends also if you are asking about wap or sms. Maximum that it can reach
(no network delays) for small MO wap pages (< 1KB) wsp, no SSL, is 500 - 600
TPS.

  Subject: High volume network connectivity

I have been wondering this myself, I am starting with a very basic system,
and well the internet connection is quite fast, but the issue is that do you
have numbers on how much ram does kannel use ? the bearerbox and the SMS box,
and real numbers about how much traffic can it handle, does it work good if it
has to swap, crashes under high load etc.

I think this is important but really I don't know were to look for about this
information !
