Eduardo

I have 14 modems over 2 serial consoles and one kannel machine. 10 for
1 operator and 4 for a second one. We have achieved over 500K mt/month
with peaks of oven 6k mt/hr. Have no problem at all.

With the 1st operator we achieved up to 48msg/5min and with the other
56 msg/5min.

If you use terminal servers you can even put some of your modems in a
remote location so you don`t saturate the cell near your location...
and you make happy your carrier.

Also there are some gsm modems that have an ethernet connection so you
can use them instead of a serial modem + a serial console.

Regards

Alvaro
