My phone had the messages locked with a pass-key combination. However, the
problem persisted even after removing the access-code. Finally, I switched
over to a Nokia XPressMusic handset. It worked like a charm. The only
problem being that I'm unable to receive any messages using kannel. Will
start a new topic for this issue.
