It is about the same for any modem.
However you need first to make sure your modem works (is recognized)
in your OS, wich means you probably need a linux driver for you card.
You can test it with any terminal emulator you know in linux such as
cu, minicom, vwdial, etc
If that works, you will just need to change the init-string and device
definitions
All the rest might stay the same.
