I understand that is a known issue for a month now but I wonder if it has been resolved somehow (with a patch or other). I also tried to do the same using 0.7.1 and got the same requirement for gwlib. I may have not installed all relevant packages on the Server. But I also have compiled kannel 1.4.3 and all went well.
