Hi Nikos, Thank you for the suggestions, however it seems neither dmesg works nor there is any messages in the var folders:(.
Is wvdial compatible with Cygwin (guess it works with Linux only)? i downloaded one wvdial 1-6.0 but dnt know how to install(since root and etc are not there for Cygwin to even start the installation) and configure it with cygwin? Else as suggested by you, need to get in touch with Cygwin forums since even the AT commands are not working. I might be asking too many 'spoonfeeding' questions here but am totally novice in this area.
