Hi,
I don't know chekconfig. But I do know that you need to start bearerbox,
before you start smsbox. An init script should do the jib nicely.

I have installed Kannel using pre-compiled binary package version
1.4.2-1.el5.rf. I have set up Kannel so that I have a Bearerbox and a
Smsbox running successfully. My problem is that I live in a country where
it is not unlikely that the power dips, so I have set kannel to start
automatically on startup using chkconfig. Now when my machine starts up I
get the following error message and the Smsbox does not start. Thanks for
you help.
