Hi,

No there isn't. Because, start/stop smsbox is so easy from the shell, being a
separate process. Besides, since http admin server is on bearerbox, and
bearerbox listens for incoming connections, there is no way for bearerbox to
tell a not running smsbox to get up and run.

However, in the special case that bb is restarting, bb could send a message to
all connected smsboxes to reconnect with a delay. I don't see much need for
that, though.

Nikos

  Subject: smsbox http administration

  Hi guys,

  I would like to know if there is any chance to stop/start the smsboxes via
HTTP like we do with beareboxes.

  In the manual there is the following;

  restart Re-start whole bearerbox, hence all SMSC links. Password required.
Beware that you loose the smsbox connections in such a case.

  So, after bringing up the bearerboxes how can we be able to manage the
smsboxes as well (excluding the option of starting via shell)

  Thanks
  Elton
