Hi, If you set storage-type to "SM" in modems, you need also to set:
sim-buffering = true in group smsc. If this doesn't work you might need to set: AT+CNMI=.... in your init-string, and while you are at it, also AT+CSME = 1 or 2 to get more verbose reporting.
