Hi all,

We are leading content providers in India; have connectivity s across all
major cities / operators in India. Anyone with expertise & know-how can
help us in giving insights how can we proceed. For implementation we can
forward.

Looking out for Centralized Service Delivery Platform implementation in our
network. It requires to take care of the below stuff.

Platform would act as layer that allows Marketing, Network, and IT to create
and implement new services faster, more efficiently and with lesser cost

Provides a unified service creation and control environment where integrated
value added services can be defined, deployed and controlled.

SDP architecture provides an end-to-end control and enables

1) Selection of a Product or a Service

2) Placement of an Order

3) Provisioning of a Service or a Product

4) Activation of a Service or a Product

5) Delivering a Service or a Product

6) Billing for a Service or a Product
7) Disconnecting a Service or a Product
8) Addition modification deletion of Bulk port.

SDP communicates to different core servers in a heterogeneous manner by
implementing server specific protocols like SMPP, CIMD etc and offers an
abstract layer to pluggable services that wants to communicate to these
servers. It offers a rich set of APIs through which these application can
interact with SDP.

Largely our connectivities are HTTP / CIMD / SMPP using kannel.

Manoj B
