Hello everyone,

I was wondering if I am determining the outbound messages per second
(throughput) of my Kannel system correctly. Currently, to determine the
messages per second I use the HTTP Administration interface. I look at the
number of messages in the sent column and then refresh the page 1 minute later
and determine the difference between the two send values and divide by 60
(seconds in a minute).

I see that there is a sms/sec field for inbound and outbound with 3 figures,
but it is a little unclear what those 3 mean (peak, avg, ???) and how long the
values are relevant for.

I also notice that my messages queued spikes up at a much faster rate than my
sent messages number. I'm assuming that queued in this case means the messages
haven't been submitted to the SMSC yet by Kannel... is this correct? I notice
that the messages disappear from my send-sms table at a fast rate so I assume
that they are queued but it isn't very well documented.

Thanks everyone!

-Scott
