kannel 12383 0.0 0.0 37104 860 ? Ss Jan25 0:00
/usr/sbin/run_kannel_box --pidfile
/var/run/kannel/kannel_bearerbox.pid --no-extra-args /usr/sbin/bearerbox -v

/etc/kannel/kannel.conf
root 17457 0.0 0.0 5656 788 pts/2 R+ 02:43 0:00 grep kannel

And If I start the processes manually in console, it show that its works.

Hi Niko,
From a console type:
gw/bearerbox <conffile>
And post output. If not output is created check /var/log/messages for any
segfaults. If that fails try:
ldd gw/bearerbox
to see if you are linking to a wrong (32bit) library.

Nikos

Hello Jovan,
The startup script is the same also.
Nothing has been changed. Strange error.
Kannel is started by start-stop-daemon. No error, processes launched, but
log file not recording with the old kannel.conf
I really don't know how to fix this. I tryed so much things...
If anyone can help me, it would be really nice.
Best regards,
Nikos

Hello everybody,
I migrated my server to a 64 bits server.
Server is Debian stable.
Kannel is 1.4.1
After an apt-get install kannel, the services is launched properly, but
after I enter my "old" (working) config, nothing happend, and no log
files
appear, eithe no error.
check the startup script.
If the only thing that was changed was the system and the startup script
check to see how kannel is started
But if I launch it manually (without the start-stop-daemon) i can see
log
file in console.
check the user with which the script is run, and see if it has write
permissions
in the folder where the logs should be created.
