Yes.

Check /var/log/messages for any kernel segfaults. Also if you have configured
cores check for any corefiles. Don't place logfiles in /tmp, or they will be
deleted by the OS after each reboot. Check also bb logs if you have them.

  Subject: SMS box stopping frequently

  Dear All,

I am using kannel, but my smsbox crashes frequently,
Now I want to check the exact problem but is there any alternate way to check
error without smsbox log file, as wrongly I have deleted log files.

  smsbox configuration looks like below

  group = smsbox
  smsbox-id=smsbox
  bearerbox-host = xxx.x.x.x
  sendsms-port = 13013
  global-sender = xyz
  sendsms-chars = "0123456789"
  #log-file = "/tmp/smsbox.log"
  #log-level = 0
  #access-log = "/home/kannel/smsbox01.log"
  http-request-retry=5
  http-queue-delay=50

  Sandesh
