OK. You have another problem. Always post detailed bb logs in this group. By
detailed we mean -v 0 or skip -v altogether (0 is the default). Try it with
dlr-mask in your configuration and you will see... And don't use
[email protected]. Just [email protected]. Nikos----- Original Message

1.4.3Sorry but I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

So I try to start the bb (is that bearerbox ?) in command line:

hyperion:/var/log/kannel # /usr/local/kannel/sbin/bearerbox1.4.3 -v 4
/etc/kannel/kannel.conf
2010-04-15 15:25:16 [17784] [0] PANIC: Couldn't read configuration from
`/etc/kannel/kannel.conf'.

and that's just with the option dlr-mask = 31 into the config file.

And as for the log when I got this error I have no log at all, so I can't
send it to you !

If I remove the option dlr-mask all is fine

and now I get a log, but use less since it's working

Yes, but in such a case bb logs would complain about "dlr-mask". All
this discussion would be avoided if you posted the context of the log
file, rather than the 1 liner, as you were asked to. Nikos-----

bearerbox 1.4.3No no it's juste how it was cut and past on the first message.

All the config file is just fine, it's just realy the dlr-mask that
cause th panic of kannel.

But for what I found it's look like the dlr_mask has to be placed in
the URL you send to kannel when you send an sms, and not be put into
the config file.

So i think it's just working as it should be and I was
misunderstanding the documentation about this flag. It's not a group
parameter inside the config file, but a CGI parameters.

Hi, You seem to have a new line in dlr-url. Please remove and
retry. If still persists. post detailed bb logs with context.

bearerbox 1.4.3Hello,

Actually no since if I remove the dlr-mask it works fine
(even with the full path for the config file)

So that's not the point.

Is their any other option that I MUST have to be able to use
that option ?

regards,

arno

Hi,

You probably have the wrong path. Is kannel.conf in
your current directory?
You shouldn't give "./kannel.conf" just kannel.conf.
It is not an
executable.

BR,
Nikos
