If you look at the logs, it has the same thread id (3704) as the pdu, so at least for me there's no doubt about what connection is referring to. The actual error is: 2010-05-10 18:10:37 [3704] [6] ERROR: System error 104: Connection reset by peer So, apparently the other side is dropping the connection right after receiving the bind_transmitter PDU. Kiran: you should speak with your smsc operator and ask about what error do they see on their side, maybe there's a problem with the SSL cert but you won't be able to figure out much about it from your side, since the SMSC is dropping the connection before answering the bind_transmitter. Saying that "a connection" was dropped. without specifying the connection is pretty much worthless in a multithreaded context.
