Hi; Thanks for your quickly reply, that what I understood from the beginning, but I have not found a way to tell the kannel server that "196.xxx.xxx.xxx" is a public address (declared in the firewall) that points on the local server. So it's logical that kannel can not reach that address, although I added the "IP:196.xxx.xxx.xxx" into the file /etc/hosts.
