Hi,

If you installed the gateway, all libs should be in your path. Else if you just compile use:

configure --with-kannel-dir=/root/kannel/gateway/trunk/

Thanks for the reply, I currently have the trunk versions in three directories as:

/root/kannel/gateway/trunk/
/root/kannel/smppbox/trunk/
/root/kannel/sqlbox/trunk/

How smppbox will know where are the compiled Gateway libraries? Or should I put all distributions in the same directory? Sorry I am still confused about it....

Thanks,

Aldo Zavala

Re: two smppbox questions...

Hi,

1) I have given the documentation to Rene. He is correcting it and he will
upload it. However, to upload it, he needs to create a directory for smppbox

in the site, not a trivial task.

2) Yes. To compile smppbox, you need to have the compiled kannel libraries.
It is not necessary that they are installed, but it is easier.

Subject: two smppbox questions...

HI my two questions are:

1.- I remember that Nikos or Rene said that he might will release a
documentation of smppbox, I just want to know where can I get that one.

2.- My other question is about compiling smppbox, in the INSTALL readme file

says that I need to have a compiled version of Gateway, I am confused, so
does smppbox need to be pointed to compiled Kannel libraries? Or is just a
matter or compile and install Kannel Gateway?.... I'm confused.... thanks in

advance for the direction!

Thanks,

Aldo Zavala
