It seems I did not describe my sutuation clearly 1- I am running smppbox 2- client connected to it 3- I have a modem 4- I want msgs coming to the modem to be forwarded to my client 5- I want msgs sent by the client to be sent via the modem
So the architecture is something like Modem=======Smppserver=========Client Regards --- On Wed, 7/7/10, Nikos Balkanas <[email protected]> wrote: From: Nikos Balkanas <[email protected]> Subject: Re: kannel as smpp server To: "ishagh ouldbah" <[email protected]>, [email protected] Date: Wednesday, July 7, 2010, 10:19 AM Hi, You are seriously confused... 1) Kannel is not an smpp server, but an smpp client. 2) SMPPbox features an SMPP server connection. 3) SMPPBox connects to kannel's bearerbox, not to a modem.
