Hi,

Please do not post the same mail twice.

Read latest User's Guide. There is a special detailed section about modem initialization with step-by-step instructions.

My main theme is to send alarm file through kannel sms gateway so I already written a program for that. I want to use my phone Nokia N73 as my modem on red hat 9 linux. But when I type the command dsmeg on root It reply-usb device 2 (vendor 0x0421/product 0x0486) is not claimed by any active driver. When wvdial it does not want to create it it keep on scanning for ports. Please please please any one replied me in detail step by step procedure because I am very new to linux and getting confused.
Thanks

Langa
