Hi. Did you resolve the issue? First of all check if the device could do CMNI notification, connect to your modem with a terminal application and write AT+CNMI=? If the response is not error, your modem can send notification. Second check if your modem is USB connection maybe you are connecting to the header of the modem (so it not give to you the notification) try the next different port ttyS1. I belive that with the command msgd | grep modem in linux it give you how many port is taking your modem, and take the higher
