Re: sqlbox and åäö

I thought the flow was smsbox->sqlbox->bb->smsc since the smsbox is
connecting to a bb port defined in sqbox, or am I wrong?

Anyway, i tried both and the result is the same. But, if i set alt-charset
for the SMSC (which uses GSM 3.38) the ? is replaced by 'eev'.

As I understand kannel uses libiconv to convert from utf8 to GSM 3.38, does
libiconv really support that? or do kannel use it's own libraries? Worth
noticing is also that  {} doesnt work, but /  do.

UTF8 encoding the chars before putting them into the database didn't make
any difference, or the chars where distorted.
