Hey there, I've been using kannel with two years now with Cellphone's acting as GSM modems. can you please suggest a cheap old cell phone that works in perfect harmony with kannel? Please Help!
*If you want to read more:* I first used Moto Pebl, also known as Motorola U6, it was mostly incompatible. Like it could not forward SMS to kannel that are longer than 1 Page and it didn't allow kannel to poll inbox so longer messages were stuck in inbox and you get inbox full everyday. I was cursing kannel all the time but later find out it's the Phone, so I did some research and heard about SonyEricsson w200i, it works like a charm, full 6 pages of SMS could be received and sent, BUT now sometimes the phone randomly switches to file transfer mode and shuts down the GSM Modem part of it. In that case I have to manually remove Phone and connect again which hurts the reliability of my very small service (http://loop.pk) I appreciate your help, Thanks :) ߣ∂ςқ <http://loop.pk>
