2012-02-02 11:50:36 [2411] [6] ERROR: AT2[GSM]: Couldn't connect (retrying
in 10 seconds).

When i try wvdialconf wvtest it says,
Scanning your serial ports for a modem.

ttyS0<*1>: ATQ0 V1 E1 -- failed with 2400 baud, next try: 9600 baud
ttyS0<*1>: ATQ0 V1 E1 --
ttyS0<*1>: failed with 9600 baud, next try: 115200 baud
ttyS0<*1>: ATQ0 V1 E1 --
ttyS0<*1>: and failed too at 115200, giving up.
Modem Port Scan<*1>: S1   S2   S3

Sorry, no modem was detected! Is it in use by another program?
Did you configure it properly with setserial?
My smskannel.conf is,
group = smsc
smsc = at
smsc-id = GSM
modemtype = auto
device = /dev/ttyS0
speed =9600
my-number = +918811909770
sms-center = +919954029008
#port = 10000
connect-allow-ip = 127.0.0.1
log-level =0
keepalive = 60
sim-buffering = true.
Please help
