Hi 1) No limit per se. As far as you can enable ports (either serial/usb/ethernet or a mix) and the server/database(s) can handle the loads/connections.
2) If they support GSM AT-Commands it should work. You might need to crack something or even develop a "driver" for it. -something like the smsc_at "driver" used for the modems. 3) It depends mostly on the network I have seen between 1sms in 5 to 10 secs. I usually use a safe number of 500sms/hr for modem throughput calculations. 4) In a case as 3, you will need about 30 modems/sims. Hope helps Alvaro On 5/22/12, Sk.
