Hi all,

I have a quick query I hope someone can help with - I've had a look through the
Archives and haven't had an answer.

I am developing an SMPP application and I want to use Kannel to deliver
Application Originates SMS to an Android Emulator virtual machine running on my
laptop.

Can anyone confirm if its possible to get Kannel to send MT SMS to an Android
Emulator, so that it looks like a 'normal' Mobile Terminated SMS on arrival?

I am not able to simulate the HLR / MSC elements for a true SMS delivery, the
flow I'd be looking for is:

SMPP Application binds to Kannel
SMPP sends 'Submit_SM' to Kannel, with destination MSISDN set assigned to a
local Android Emulator
Kannel delivers MT_Forward_SM to Android Emulator

>From reading the documentation I don't think this is possible, unless I can
>get the Android Emulator to run as a 'phone-as-SMSC' - can anyone advise if
>this is possible?

Thanks in advance,

Stuart.
