I think yes, you're correct about 1 smsc link == 1 queue for bearerbox. About priority field from documentation, seems there it is for:
priority number Optional, sets the default priority of messages transmitted over this smsc link. (Defaults to 0, which is the highest priority) and priority number Optional. Sets the Priority value (range 0-3 is allowed). hmm, not really useful range, can it be extended to let's say from 0 to 100 ?
