Hi Check CNMI command it is intended for configuring the modem in order to send MO to the external port (serial/usb) in our case bearerbox.
sim-buffering is for telling kannel to go and look for MO. As your CPMS command is telling you that the messages are on the SIM not the equipment; you need to tell kannel check sim not the equipment. use: message-storage = "SM" sim-buffering = true You can also add the CNMI command in the modem init string. Note that there are some modem/phone manufacturers that do not support CNMI command -Nokia- Regards Alvaro On 3/21/13, Emmanuel CHANSON <emmanuelchan...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hello, > > I am faced to an issue with the modem (Huawei E220) > > I have this error in smsc.log when receiving a SMS that should be forwarded > to an application through smsbox: > > 2013-03-21 19:51:21 [26623] [6] DEBUG: AT2[huawei_e220]: --> AT+CPMS?^M > 2013-03-21 19:51:21 [26623] [6] DEBUG: AT2[huawei_e220]: <-- +CPMS: > "ME",0,255,"SM",8,60,"SM",8,60 > 2013-03-21 19:51:21 [26623] [6] DEBUG: AT2[huawei_e220]: <-- OK > > The SMS is stored inside SM memory, and I dont know how to configure Kannel > to forward the message. > > I have configued in modem.conf: > > message-storage = "ME" > > and in kannel.conf in group=smsc > sim-buffering = true > > Is it a correct configuration ? > Why modem keep the SMS in SM memory ? > > Regards and thanks for your help > > Emmanuel > -- |-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Envíe y Reciba Datos y mensajes de Texto (SMS) hacia y desde cualquier celular y Nextel en el Perú, México y en mas de 180 paises.
