interesting

What's kannel version you are on? Can you post your smsc log masked?

2013/8/28 Germán Bobr - Redmond Software <[email protected]>

I am using kannel’s smsbox to send messages to a smpp smsc.

My SMSC is responding with lots of throttling errors, so I lowered
throughput parameter.

By doing a packet trace, It looks like throughput parameter is being ignored
(I’m seeing a lot more submits_sm per second than my throughput)

This is how my smsc configuration looks like:

group= smsc

smsc= smpp

smsc-id= TIGOBO-TOY1

host= xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

port= xxxx

transceiver-mode= 1

smsc-username = XXXXX

smsc-password = XXXXX

system-type = RBT

source-addr-ton= 1

dest-addr-ton= 1

throughput= 10

connect-allow-ip = "*.*.*.*"

keepalive= 50

Thanks in advance for your help.
