I've been searching mailing lists on how to prevent infinite retries when a SMSC returns ESME_RSYSERR.
The problem occurs when a number has been blacklisted. There is no way to filter or apply any of the "suggestions". Found the following ( http://www.kannel.org/pipermail/users/2006-July/000081.html): > Rene Kluwen wrote: > *... > * > yep, agree'ing here. I attempted to use the sms-resend-retry option, but it does not work on the current snapshot. Later I found this: https://kannel.org/issues/341 Any new ideas around this? Or is the only solution to update / fix / hack the kannel source code? Regards,
