I'm using two different modems, both of them work fine without issues at the
moment. The first one has been working for around 7 years, the second one
for about 6 months but they are slower than the first one about 15% to 20%,
all of them are connected thru RS232 on a SUSE linux OS.

- Generic GSM GPRS Modem Pool (8 modems) with Wavecom Q2426B RS232

Is there a way to place this knowledge in kannel documentation?, I saw in
other mail something about a wiki but must ask for permission to start the
page?.

Hope this help for others.

Maybe we should send detect-string, init-string and other important
parameters for modems if they are important for particular model.
