Numbers shown are for last 1 minute, last 5 minutes and overall.

I don't think you can get 5k/sec on one link. You might want/need
additional links. Check with your provider.

You also need to fine tune your app, database, web server, etc as well
as have a proper hardware and enough bandwidth to your provider.

Test your system with the fake smsc included in kannel to see if your
system can handle that load.
