Husnain, Thank you. I know this config, but the next-step problem is that this config does not kick in automatically when system reboots or modem is plugged-out and in. I have even worked on this as well. But still, life is much much simpler if a smoother way of working with these modems could be found.
I came across a post in which there was a method to permanently change the default mode of these modems. Will try it and tell you if it works.
