Hi all, This year I would like Libcloud to participate in the Google Summer of Code (http://code.google.com/soc/) program. I have already asked other PMC members and they support the idea.
Apache hasn't started collecting project ideas yet, but I would still like to see how many people are interested in becoming a mentor and gauge interested of potential students / contributors. Here is a small list of ideas I had in mind: - New API for networking - libcloud.http aka REST interface for Libcloud - Async API If you are a committer and interested in becoming a GSoC mentor or a student interested in participating, please reply in this thread. If you are a student please also post more information about the project you would like to work on - your own project ideas are welcome!
