Hi Josiah,

NAT traversal needs a RTR (reencapsulating tunnel router) in combination with MS. The MS gets 2 IP addresses, the real one (private), and the translated one (public) and needs the RTR to solve this.

The only implementation I know of is from Cisco, but it still is beta software.

Regards,

Wilhelm

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a NAT capable LISP MS/MR implementation. I need to setup a LISP testbed using LISPMob xTRs behind a NAT box. Currently I am using a OpenLISP control plane implementation for MS/MR, but it doesn’t seem able to accept NAT encapsulated packets from the LISPmob xTRs.

Anyone with an idea about NAT enabled MS/MR implementations, please share some pointers.

Thanks and regards,
Josiah.
