I tried a sample application for avsv service. Similar to the avsv demo. setup: 2 payload 2N redundancy 2 service unit. didnot do any changes for AppConfig.xml
When i start the service the first payload1 the application is executed and the component is active. When i start the service on the other node payload2 he comes up as standby. Now when i get the service down on payload1 payload2 becomes active which is the expected behaviour. At this point when i start payload1 he should come up as standby but in my case he comes up as active. CSI Set callback function shows it as active.
I don't think there s any problem from application side as CSI setcall back is invoked by service.What could have gone wrong?
