A few points: - I think some of the XML files are in an old format (no namespace prefixes)
- It is not explicit how to create Actions/Models/Views/Templates after the initial project creation (ok... it is a simple command line call, but still it was a bit confusing for the tutorial not to tell me) - Language is a bit different in different places, for example: "Installing Agavi" uses clear commands from the author to the reader "Discover the Agavi PEAR channel and then install Agavi using the PEAR command line interface", and then gives what to do on the command line, with results. However, then "Implementing the comments Action in a slot" uses language like "Let's create the PostComments Action", and then doesn't say what to do explicitly. When I read it, at that point I was a bit unclear as to whether I need to figure out how to create that myself, or whether the tutorial will tell me how. (It was just a command line call to agavi action-create, but still it was unclear I had to do that) I think I'm a fan of the "You should do this now" language. - It's a minor point, but I'm not such a fan of the suggested decorator template ;-) - For the custom validator, it's not clear where this file should go (and that there should be a reference to it in validators.xml) *However* things being a bit confusing at first isn't necessarily always such a bad thing. For me at least, having to think about what to do helps me understand and remember. Hope this helps, Michal.
