Sad enough, you're right. The bad news is that it's badly out of date, the good news is that it's being worked on. It will take a little time though, but expect some progress next week. I'll be in Dublin till sunday and don't know how much time I have to spare till then, but from monday on I shouldhave some.Thats cool; the tutorial is of little relevence to myself now that I've been through it but it is definitely worth fixing as it is likely to be the first hands on experience a developer will get of Agavi and you obviously want that to be a good one. I'll go back over it tomorrow to try and spot any other gotchas.
Thanks :)
... If you feel like writing or proofreading documentation, you're certainly welcome to contribute.Yeah, I've oft found the best way to learn an undocumented system is try to document it for yourself. Do you have a list of documentation tasks or such? (So that you don't get duplicated effort)
We do have a plan laid out, so we could organize to separate it. I'll have to talk this over with david.
I should also have some time for proof reading. Do you guys dish out these or are announcements made on another mailing list / tickets raised in trac, announcements in IRC etc?
Currently it's just me writing but I planned to write a mailing list mail once there is stuff to check.
If we can work out some way of organizing things I should have some spare time to contribute to Agavi. Not yet. Make a ticket, shoot us an email, send in patches, drop in the ircchannel. We take what we can get :)I'll pop in to IRC tomorrow; what sort of timezones are people on?
The main team is on CET, that would be 0:20 right now.
Thanks Felix :D
You're welcome.
