Your post is confusing. You claim you have a VX-3R and VX-5R but there are no such models supported by CHIRP. CHIRP supports the Yaesu VX-3 and Yaesu VX-5 and the Baofeng UV-3R and Baofeng UV-5R. So which models do you actually have? In any case, your best bet is to open a ticket so you can provide the correct information along with the debug.log file and any other related files that you have that can be used to troubleshoot your issue.
