Yes I have considered that but the cost associated with having to procure the operating system is prohibitive and I stopped using Windows for a reason. I chose never to go back to that operating system. After much additional research I found out that this particular radio firmware does not support individual PTT ID per frequency. I will run the radio with a global PTT-ID unless it becomes an issue down the line for whatever reason. It doesn’t seem to affect anything that I’ve been able to tell on other frequencies that don’t require the ID unless I’m missing something. If anyone has additional information regarding this please let me know. I appreciate the response.
