It appears you had a space within the file name
The example was '(ex: chirp-20240522-py3-none-any.whl)`
What it appears you used was " ./'chirp-20251108-py3-none-any .whl' " and
it looks like you had a space between 'any' and '.whl'

Just as an FYI
I do not use pipx on fedora.
Instead I use pip as my regular user, and I use the tar.gz file with the
command `pip install --update ./chirp-20251108.tar.gz` and it properly
updates the already installed version.

Chirp is installed as my regular user under
~/.local/lib/python-3.14/site-packages
