If a certificate is selected as a signing certificate for a domain, the
certificate is "in use". If a certificate is "in use", you cannot delete
the certificate until you remove the certificate from the domain. You
can do this by opening the domain settings, then select S/MIME ->
signing certificate. On the "Select signing certificate for domain"
page, click "auto select certificate". This will remove the signing
certificate for the domain.
