Greetings! We will start this years' "I Know What You Are Going To Do This Summer 09" in the last week of June, 2009 (date and IRC time to be confirmed soon).
We will begin with an introductory, informal IRC session where we get to know each other, discuss our/your interests, and objectives. This year: 1. I will begin by reviewing the "i-want-2-do-project. tell-me-wat-2-do" [1] with a separate IRC session (date and IRC time to be confirmed soon). There will be two new sessions from my end: 2. "di-git-ally managing love letters" [2] - An introductory session on using Git for source control management. $ sudo yum install git-core 3. "packaging Red hot, Panner (butter) Masala (RPM)" [3] - Packaging RPM HOWTO. $ sudo yum install fedora-packager For my sessions, you need to: * be using a Fedora (10 or above) distribution. * know atleast one good buffer-based editor (vim/Emacs). If there are requests for any new topics, I shall try to fulfil the same based on time and need basis.
