NITDGP GLUG is organizing a Barcamp (open discussions, talks, hands-on
workshops) of 2 days duration (8 hours per day) on 12 and 13 January 2013,
as part of a series of pre-mukti workshops. It will cover the basics of
what the GSOC program is about, what it aims to do, how one should start
off if one wants to participate (and has no clue how to), how to choose a
mentoring organization and a project, etc.

The session is going to be relevant for people with no experience about
FOSS, as well as the ones with intermediate experience. We will discuss
things like how to start off with FOSS contributions (especially in the
programming area).

We are expecting participations, not only from college, but everyone who is
a student and is interested in contributing. The barcamp will be from 9:00
am to 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

We are trying to get Google to pay for the pizzas during the barcamp, but
that's just the bonus :)

Expecting enthusiastic participation
