Andreas, I followed your instructions.
~$ ifconfig readout for eth0 is lacking the "inet addr:" line. It DOES show "inet6 addr:" line. The section for lo (loopback) correctly shows "inet addr: 127.0.0.1..." as well as "inet6 addr:" line. So it appears eth0 is configured only for IPv6 and not IPv4? How would I fix this? Thank you for your continuing support!
