With "SMTP Banner" I guess you mean the SMTP HELO name? The SMTP HELO name should be set to the name of the reverse IP lookup. You can either make sure that "My Hostname" is set to the external name or, set the "SMTP HELO" parameter on the MTA settings page. See page 10 and appendix A of the "DJIGZO administration guide" for more info on how to set the "SMTP HELO" name.
