Hi Jörg,

The problem is that the email is in an Exchange proprietary format (RTF
aka winmail.dat). If you extract winmail.dat (for example using the
linux tnef tool) you would find that it contains the smime.p7m
attachment. Normally Exchange should not sent such an email to a
non-exchange email address. Exchange should have converted the email to
a normal MIME email and not an RTF email. The short term fix is to tell
the sender to make sure that either Outlook or the Exchange server does
not sent RTF emails (containing the winmail.dat file).

Note: emails containing winmail.dat can only be read with Outlook.

The long term solution would be to add a converter to convert the
winmail.dat to a normal MIME email but this is an easy task.
