The logs should tell you more as to why the email could not be
encrypted. Can you send me the logs in a private email?

Can you check whether the advanced password setting "Date set" is set? A
password can expire if "Date set" is set.

Note: setting a password on the global settings means that every
recipient shares the same password. It might be that this is your
intention but it's less secure then using for example the OTP mode.
